The premier issue came out in September 2004 in newspaper format, and our first issue in magazine format came out in October 2005. We will start our third year with Issue #9 around September-October 2006.
Thousands of copies are in circulation. They have been available at various faires and through merchants as well as to subscribers and at retail locations in major cities. If you have a renaissance related retail establishment and would like to sell issues, please contact us. |

Renaissance Magazine is for all those who love the Renaissance and Middle Ages--from 'rennnies' and medievalists to re-enactors and roleplaying enthusiasts. We cover the periods between 500-1650 AD and feature articles on history, reenactment, herbal and culinary arts, castles, heraldry, Shakespeare, and interviews with the movers and shakers of the Renaissance faire and reenactment communities. Upcoming Renaissance faires and festivals are listed in every issue, and medieval and renaissance books, movies, games, web sites and music are regularly reviewed.
